Henricus Hommerson was a carnival operator who journeyed across the country with a travelling cinema at the beginning of the 20th century. He was assisted by his sons Anton, Frans, and Nico. Hommerson regularly shot local footage that was then screened in his travelling cinema. The Hommerson family is still active in the entertainment industry.
