Reportage about the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the VVV in Leeuwarden.
Reportage about the anniversary of the VVV in Leeuwarden, with film footage of the annual flower market. The board of the VVV donates two antique vases to the district council; these are placed in the Rengerspark. The film then shows some of the monuments maintained by the VVV, including the statue of Prince Hendrik of Orange. The afternoon programme includes a parade with bands, as well as ‘tilting at the ring’ competitions. The day ends with festive fireworks that illuminate the most important buildings.
